Coe
Anderson was born in Washington D.C. on December 21,
1953 and grew up in Camp Springs Maryland. He started
playing music when he was eleven years old and played
in his Jr. High and High School bands.
Coe
has been the musical arranger and architect of The Fabulous
Hubcaps for the past 35 years. With his acute ear he
has transcribed musical charts of over 200 recordings.
He faithfully and meticulously reproduces the original
sound of the original recordings and hit records of
the 1950's, 1960's and 1970'. He oversees and directs
the vocal harmonies, rhythm section, horn arrangements
and instrument solo's.
His
virtuoso guitar work and the mastery of several musical
instruments, including the saxophone, keyboards, electric
bass, and the violin has earned Coe a special reputation
in the field of music. He loves playing and intends
to play professionally as long as life lets him.
He
still resides in Maryland near the beautiful Chesapeake
Bay and teaches guitar at a local music store on days
he is not performing with The Hubcaps. On special occasions
he also performs with other musicians on "pick-up" or
fill-in gigs when his busy schedule allows.
